How many of those breaths will you be aware of?
Breathing is the perfect meditation tool: It’s always available, day and night, wherever you go. When we focus on our breathing, it grounds us in the present moment, since we cannot breathe in the past or the future, which is where our minds are, most of the time.
This class isn’t “exercise” that’s designed to work the diaphragm, or increase lung capacity.
The techniques demonstrated in this class are helpful to a regular mediation practice, designed to calm and steady the mind.
They’re not complicated, so they’re easy to learn and easy to do.
